From Cell Tower Records to Clear Investigative Insight
Analyzing Cell Tower Data
Cell tower data can be difficult to interpret from raw call charge records alone. Map and Track helps investigators convert recorded cell-site connections into clear, visual and easy-to-follow analysis, including serving-area maps, activity timelines, communication summaries, proximity reviews and court-safe reports.

Quick Reports
Quick Reports are designed for investigators who need key information fast, without manually reviewing large volumes of records. Map and Track brings together the most relevant information into clear PDF reports based on the type of case being worked on. For example, in a missing person matter, a Quick Report can highlight the most frequent contacts, last recorded communication, last recorded serving cell, activity gaps and usual patterns of movement, giving investigators a focused starting point for urgent decision-making and leads.

Proximity Analysis
Proximity analysis helps investigators assess whether a device’s recorded cell-site connections are consistent with being within the approximate serving area of a location of interest, such as a scene, address, route or incident area. In Map and Track, investigators can compare recorded serving cells against a chosen location, review the relevant times and records, and view the connected towers and their approximate coverage areas on a map. This can assist with identifying investigative leads, checking whether records align with a known timeframe, and narrowing the material that may require closer review. Proximity analysis does not place a device at an exact location or prove that a person was present; it shows only that the device was recorded connecting to cells whose estimated serving areas may include or relate to the location of interest.

Court-Ready Reports
Every analysis view in Map and Track can produce a court-ready PDF report that presents the key findings in a clear, structured and defensible format. Reports are designed to explain the purpose of the analysis, show the relevant maps, timelines, records and summaries, and clearly separate recorded facts from software-derived interpretation. Each report uses careful wording to avoid overstating what cell-site data can prove, making it suitable for investigators, reviewers and decision-makers who need professional reports that are easy to understand and ready to share.
